Sacred Cacao Ceremony

Join us Jan 24th to celebrate life with an evening of sacred cacao, meditation and movement.

The cacao ceremony is a sacred space designed to bring us closer to ourselves, to each other, and to the divine essence that connects all things. Rooted in ancient traditions, this ceremony honors cacao as a plant medicine, revered for its heart-opening properties and ability to deepen our connection to spirit, creativity, and community.

The Spirit of Cacao

Cacao, often referred to as "the food of the gods," has been used ceremonially for thousands of years by Indigenous peoples of Central and South America. It is more than just a drink; it is a sacred medicine that carries the power to heal, awaken, and connect. When approached with reverence, cacao can help us release emotional blockages, ignite our creative energy, and access a state of unconditional love and compassion.

Coming Together in Community

In ceremony, we gather as a community—a tribe of seekers, healers, and dreamers. Through shared intention, we weave a tapestry of connection, reminding each other of the power of collective heart energy. The cacao acts as a gentle facilitator, softening barriers and opening the channels for authentic expression, deep listening, and mutual support.

Elements of the Ceremony

  1. Setting Intentions: Each participant is invited to silently or verbally share their intentions for the ceremony, allowing the collective energy to amplify individual prayers and visions.

  2. Blessing the Cacao: Before drinking, we honor the cacao with gratitude, acknowledging its journey from seed to cup and the hands that nurtured it along the way.

  3. Drinking the Cacao: As we drink, we savor the richness and warmth of the cacao, allowing it to flow through us as a conduit for love and connection.

  4. Ritual: We will journey together with grounding practices such as breathwork, meditation and dance or movement to center ourselves and align with the present moment.

  5. Sacred Sharing: Guided by the heart, we share stories, songs, or expressions that arise naturally, holding space for each other’s truth without judgment.

  6. Integration: We close with grounding practices, ensuring that the insights and energies cultivated during the ceremony are anchored within us.

An Invitation to Open Your Heart

Whether you are new to ceremonial practices or a seasoned participant, the cacao ceremony invites you to open your heart and embrace the magic of connection. As we gather in this sacred space, we honor not only the spirit of cacao but also the divine essence within each of us. Together, we create a sanctuary of love, where healing, joy, and unity can flourish.

Meet Sarah

Sarah co-founded Sacred Ally in 2019 with her husband Peter. Her journey as a healer began in 2001 with a deep curiosity in the realms of energy. Her belief is that our experience in life is directly related to the energetic nature of our being. From this curiosity she developed a clear calling to study and be of service through various healing modalities including Massage, Shamanic Reiki, Kambo, and Visionary Breathwork.

Sarah studied and apprenticed with the Andean Cacao lineage of The Seven Rays. Recognized by Maestro Puma as a cacao and mesa carrier, she has been blessed to serve the sacred medicine of cacao to her beloved community.
