✨ Express to Speak presents:
Juan Gabriel Culum’s, The Quetzal Exhibition

Join us on March 8th for First Friday at Sacred Ally, a healing and empowering arts center dedicated to collaborating with our community and local artisans.

The Quetzal Exhibition

Embark on a mystical journey through the Quetzal Exhibition, a captivating display of Mayan art by Juan Gabriel Culum from Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

This exhibition runs through the month of March as we celebrate Culum’s masterful blending of Maya heritage with myths from other indigenous cultures, centering on the quetzal—a symbol of renewal in these times.

Each piece invites viewers to explore the balance between the rational and the spiritual, urging us to ponder the unseen forces guiding our destinies. Through his art, Culum weaves a narrative that transcends time and culture. The Quetzal Exhibition promises a profound and enigmatic exploration of human existence, inviting you to embrace the mystery at its core.

Juan Gabriel Culum

Juan Gabriel Culum uses art for creative self-expression, as well as a means for educating others about Mayan and other indigenous cultures’ beliefs and myths. Juan uses the sales from his art to support his family and is fundraising to be able to afford to join his family in the USA.

Express To Speak founder Tahj Kelland connected with Juan in 2024 and has been hard at work trying to support this incredible artist’s vision of education and cultural celebration.

As always, our incredible team of practitioners will be offering mini-sessions throughout the evening to help you ground, connect, release, and relax.
