Workshop 2: Strategies for Peace & Tightrope Walking
Every day provides us with the opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow both intentionally and subconsciously. Join us for the second workshop in a six-part series dedicated to helping you identify your strengths, embrace your areas for growth, and learn new strategies for navigating challenges, (both internal and external) so you can Protect Your Peace throughout 2025.
Each workshop is a stand-alone event, you can attend 1 or all 6. Attending the entire series will allow you the greatest learning; some activities from previous events will be referenced and built upon, but each workshop was created to allow attendance based on your areas of interest.
Protecting Your Peace will leave you with a greater sense of self and tools to help you navigate life’s challenges and create more peace in your day-to-day experiences. Workshop topics include:

During the second workshop, Strategies for Peace & Tightrope Walking we will come together for the following activities:
Opening circle; co-creating safe spaces
Introductions and tightrope or balance-skill sharing; living in community
“Tools for tightrope walking”
“Next year’s always better”, what to do when you’ve made a plan and have to burn it
M.O.O.P., organization, & time management : How executive functioning can put the “excuse-me?” vibe or “fun” into any situation
Letting go of expectations journal activity
Embracing gratitude small group exchange
Close workshop

Before the event take time to answer the following questions:

An open and honest heart
Love earned her degree at the University of Montana in mathematics, literacy, and education. She has 20-years of experience working with students of all ages (K-college), a decade of large and small project leadership experiences, and several certificates ranging from Interpersonal Communication and Mediation to Google’s AI Essentials, Cybersecurity Certification, and UC Berkeley Extension’s Project Management Program certificate. Her diverse interests and skills help her to navigate our ever-evolving modern world with grace and humility.
